Carolyn came down from NY to be with us for a few days. She arrived in time for the dinner which Diana prepared for us.
Back in our youthful days in DC, when the weather was fine, a very large, friendly balloon man would usually be seen walking near Wisconsin and M Streets in Georgetown with a huge cluster of balloons chanting "Make the ladies happy...make the children happy" in a booming baritone voice.
