The lady is a magnificent blessing to us all. She is living with stage four breast cancer, taking heart from the support of family and friends too numerous to count.

IN MEMORIAM

Tuesday, September 23, 2008

We are still waiting on the results of Monday's spinal tap. It looks like we can expect them tomorrow. Release is dependent on getting the results and developing the plan for home care.
Marita is doing her walks and stretches. Arlene came by this afternoon to visit. Brother Joe arrived later in the afternoon to help out. Jeanne W came this evening. Adrian, Joe, Dan and Rink rallied until bedtime.

I love this blog thing. Never did this before. If it's a way I can communicate with you, Marita and all of the family out there, I'm delighted at this possibility. Thanks for the updates. They are very important to us because for some of us there's just prayers we can offer for now and not much else. It's hard to be a distance away and know I won't see you for some time. Please know I'm thinking of you all the time Marita and of Rink too, of course.
If you think of anything I can do from my bed in NY, I'll be there after Friday for a long time LOOKING for things to do! Hey, do you have Skype or Callwave on your PC? I will show you my scaffolding! Now you're thrilled...
Love, Hugs & more Love!

Rink
I passed on news about you and Marita’s medical condition to the “regulars”. We remember Marita with a great deal of affection from her travels with us. Please say hello for us and our wish for a quick recovery.

Dear Rink,

Thanks a lot for keeping me in the loop of your ways.
I just read your blog and I am suprissed by the warm idea making a blog to keeping everybody involved in your lifes.

I'm very soory reading that Marita's health is not in good condition. My english and my knowledge about cancer isn't good enough to understand perfectly the details but I understood that it is a serious thing.

What I would like to say personally to you (if you allow me doing this in my still limited wording, I hope you understand what i want to state):
I'm honestly strongly impressed about your way working with this difficult situation, your strong positive attitude dealing with all that.
As I said my english is good on job, bad on daily life situations. Nevertheless I clearly feel your love you put in making and tracking this blog for Marita.
To me you are a real archetype of a good man, father and husband keeping all things on track and the family together!

Please send my best regards to Marita, Dan and Adrian.

Yours,
Marco
